We are born again and again into the same branch of our family line — always as someone different. Once as a father, another time as a mother, a son, or a daughter. In our current life, we might feel anger toward our parents for something they did to us in childhood.
What’s beautiful about our therapies is that when a person decides to face these issues, they can be untangled right during the session. The client often realizes that the problem has been repeating throughout the entire family line — passed down from father to son, again and again.
The most powerful part is that therapy can take you all the way back — to the very first person in the lineage who started it all. And quite often, we discover that it was us.
In another life, we were the ones who began the very issue we are now angry at our father (or mother) for. That’s when eyes and hearts open — there’s no one left to blame. Peace and understanding come. Forgiveness arrives — forgiveness of ourselves and asking forgiveness from the entire family line for having to go through what we once began.
About the Author of the Article
I am the author of the book How to Heal? My Journey of Healing from Depression Without Medication. And Not Only from That. It was accompanied by nonstop migraines, anxiety, panic attacks, and suicidal thoughts. The first time, I completely healed in 8 months, and about 10 years later, in 1 year and 3 months. It was a path of changes I had to make if I truly wanted to be healthy. I succeeded.
